İskur Tekstil continues to grow with its R&D center.
İskur Tekstil established an R&D center in order to increase its product diversity, to produce innovative and design superiority-based products with high added value. In the R&D center, which became operational in March, İskur Tekstil started its efforts to increase its share and competitive power in the technical textiles market as an alternative to the products it produces in the medium and long term.
Stating that 31 high-level researchers will be employed in the R&D center, which became operational, İskur Tekstil Enerji A.Ş. İsmail Kurtul, Member of the Board of Directors, said, “There are 21 Engineers, one with a doctorate and four with a master's degree. İskur Textile Energy and Trade Inc. In the R&D Center, universities' Textile Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Management Engineering and Science-Literature Chemistry and Biology etc. Doctoral students and graduate students from many disciplines such as
Kurtul participated in the “UTIB Turkey Textile and Clothing Sector X. International R&D Project Brokerage Event”, which is one of the most prestigious R&D Project Markets of Turkey at the international level and held in Bursa in March 2018, İskur Tekstil Enerji ve Ticaret A.Ş. . The R&D Center won the 2nd prize and for the first time, a company from Kahramanmaraş has succeeded in receiving an award in the project category in this competition.”
Stating that İskur Tekstil has demonstrated its competence to carry out R&D studies on a global scale, Kurtul said that they have an R&D Center that can realize all the planned stages in TÜBİTAK and EU projects, machinery equipment and infrastructure and experienced staff who are experts in their fields.
